This triggers dust to fly into my mouth and I decide it’s time to get out the heavy duty helpers. The magic erasers, the bleach, one shot for that slow draining sink. Upholstery Cleaning Tips
Directly clean the stain as soon as spillage happens. Starting from concealed part.
Clean the pet furs by rubber gloves. The pet furs will accumulate on the gloves.
To avoid the upholstery colour worn out fast, turn over the cushion every now and then.
Wall Cleaning Tips
Before you wash the wall, it is better to clean it from dust by duster or vacuum cleaner. Clean the dirtiest parts, such as finger prints, crayons or other stains with steel wood pad soaked into soap water. Be careful not to scratch the wall.
Curtain and Blinds
Curtain and blinds are common breeding place for germs and bacteria, not to mention dirts. Therefore, clean them regularly. The best way to do it is to wash them regularly in the cool water with soft detergent. But make sure to check and follow the manufacturer’s instruction. If the curtain is not dirty, only a little bit dusty, you could use vacuum cleaner, then change the nozzle accordingly with the suitable size and the lowest setting.
Ornaments and Statues Cleaning Tips
It would be better to wash all ornaments, porcelain, glass or plastic statues in one go instead of cleaning them one by one:
Cover the sink with thick towel.
Fill the sink up with warm water and add a few drops of liquid detergent.
Soak all of them while you clean other part of the room.
After those ornaments soaked with water, slowly scrub with your finger or small brush, such as make up brush to remove the dirts.
Rinse until clean.
Then leave them until dry.
Cleaning a Mattress Tip
Leave the mattress under the sun every now and then to kill the germs and bacteria and stroke it to remove the dust.
Cleaning Toilet Tip
Water Stain
A mixture of borax and lime essence will remove water mark circles inside the toilet bowl:
First, flush the toilet.
Daub the mixture of borax and lime essence over the circles.
Leave it for two hours.
Scrub it as usual with toilet brush.
Bathtub
Whenever you want to use the bathtub, it is better to start by filling up the bottom of the bathtub with cool water before filling it up with hot water. This will avoid condensation and will be safer for kids.
Bathtub Stains
Stains could be easily removed from porcelain bathtub and sink by:
Mixing hydrogen peroxide and cream of tartar.
Daub this mixture over the stain and slowly scrub the stain with damp cloth.
If the stains persist, daub the mixture once more, cover it with damp cloth and leave it overnight.
How to Clean Chopping Board
Wood chopping board is a favorite place for bacteria and germs. Wash it with a mixture of water and bleach. Water could also damage the wood chopping board. Do not soak it in the water. Always dry it everytime you wash it.
Get rid of the smell of the chopping board by:
Scrubbing it with lime extract.
Wipe it and leave it dry.
Always do this every time you use it to ensure the chopping board always smell fresh.

How to Clean Stains with Hydrogen Peroxide (Handle with care)
To clean persistent stain on the counter, moist a paper towel with hydrogen peroxide.
Fold the paper towel into two.
Then put that paper towel on top of that stain.
After that, put something heavy, such as a pan, on that paper towel to ensure the paper towel stay on top of the stain. If the stain still persists in an hour, repeat the process.
Sophie’s Oven Cleaning Tip
If your oven is self cleaning then all you have to do is the prep work and then a simple wipe down afterwards. If your oven is not self cleaning then you will have to do a bit more of scrubbing. Begin by removing all the racks and washing these first with warm soapy water.
